Shipping & Returns


Only unopened items, within 30 days of delivery may qualify for a return or refund. Prior to returning any HamiltonBuhl product, you must contact our customer service to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). RMA# is required for all returns. Any returns received without RMA# will be refused. There will be a 25% restocking fee on all returns. Any returns that are not in original condition and packaging, are tampered with and/or not in re-sellable condition will void the refund.

The following DO NOT qualify for the standard return policy:

- High Volume Orders, in excess of 1,000 units
- Private Label/OEM orders · Custom Kits Return Merchandise Authorization

To receive RMA number, you must email with proof of purchase and reason for RMA request. RMA numbers, once issued, expire in 30 days.

For orders exceeding $10,000 in invoice price, cancellations after 72 hours will incur a 15% cancellation fee.

Defective Items
Customer Service must be notified of a defective item. RMA will be required for any returns. Items received within 30 days may or may not be replaced. It is the manufacturer’s discretion to either replace or repair the item. If an item has been marked, engraved or altered, it will only be repaired under warranty, if warranty is in effect. If an item is returned and found not to be defective and in perfect working condition, then the item will be returned back to the customer at customer’s expense along with the original inbound shipping cost. Items received after 30 days from date of invoice, will be repaired under warranty.

If an item is determined to be misused, this will VOID the warranty. The customer will then be respon­sible for approved repairs, return shipping and the inbound shipping charges. Additional fees may be charged if applicable.

Once received and inspected, items approved for refund or replacement, will be resolved within 30 days. Items returned without an RMA# will be returned at senders expense. RMA# will only be issued to the dealer of record.

Price Discrepancies
Please email us at within 5 days of receipt of goods of any price discrepancies. Debit memo’s will not be accepted with-out prior written approval.

Invalid/Incorrect Shipping Address
Orders received with an invalid or incorrect shipping address are subject to the current freight carrier fee of $24.90 per carton charge back.

Warranty Terms
Warranty begins from invoice date/ship date. Warranties vary by item, refer to individual items on for warranty information.

Restock Rate, Non-Defective Products
There will be a 25% restock fee for all non-defective products. Product must be received in original condition and packaging. If the product is deemed used or un-sellable, the product will be returned to sender at sender’s expense with additional applicable fees.

Handling Charges
$6.75 handling fee applies to all orders.

Repair Charges
$75.00/hour plus parts will be applied to all out of warranty products. A written estimate will be provided for approval prior to repairs commencing.

Replacement Merchandise
Company reserves the right to repair, replace (with a new or refurbished product at our discretion) or credit as warranted. Repaired or replaced merchan­dise will have a warranty from the date of the original invoice date/ship date.

Refund Policy
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We ship within the 50 United States. Alaska and Hawaii will take a longer for ground shipments; Next Day and 2nd Day are the fastest method for these states.

For international shipping, we require DHL pre-paid labels only.

Some heavy items require shipping via truck; additional surcharges may apply.

4th party billing is not accepted; order(s) will automatically be defaulted to dealers shipping account if appliable.

Lithium-Ion Battery Shipping Within US

Items containing Lithium-Ion Batteries must ship 2nd Day Air when being delivered to US addresses outside of Continental Unites State such as Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico as well as island locations such as Avalon, CA, etc.

Special Shipping Requests
Special guaranteed, same or second day USPS shipping requests will be accommodated for an additional upcharge of $5.00 per order. Orders must be received before 1pm eastern time. Special accommodations will be offered for UPS overnight or second day shipments, without an additional fee, Orders must be received before 1pm eastern time.

Upon your request, when you place an order, estimated shipping costs and delivery dates determined based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose, will be provided to you.

Please note that the shipping rates on most items are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Damage Claims/Shortages
Hamilton Buhl must be notified within 5 days of receipt of goods, no exceptions.
